The Joymaker Initiative is a dedicated organization that provides support and resources to adolescents and young people in the community on various critical issues such as mental health, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR),HIV, Climate change, gender-based violence (GBV), support for refugees, and assistance for survivors of human trafficking.

We believe that through education, open dialogue, Advocacy, and community action, We can change and build a safer and more resilient community  and we invite you to join us in this vital mission

Empowerment

We believe in empowering adolescents and young people to advocate for their own mental health and well-being, to make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health, and to stand up against gender-based violence and human trafficking and HIV.

Community Engagement

We believe in the power of community involvement and support in addressing issues related to mental health, SRHR, GBV,HIV, refugees and human trafficking. We work closely with local communities to raise awareness, educate, and advocate for positive change.

Advocacy

We advocate for the rights of adolescents and young people, as well as refugees and survivors of human trafficking, to access quality mental health services, comprehensive SRHR education,HIV and support for GBV prevention and intervention.

Inclusivity

We value inclusivity and strive to create a welcoming and safe environment for all individuals, including refugees and survivors of human trafficking & HIV, regardless of their background, gender, or sexual orientation.

Resilience

We support the resilience of individuals who have experienced trauma, such as refugees and survivors of human trafficking,HIV and provide them with the necessary tools and resources to heal and rebuild their lives.
